The latest official notification from CEE Kerala says that candidates who have applied for the KEAM entrance examination can download their admit cards starting from 8 April 2026. This is the currently relevant official update for hall-ticket release.

Candidates should check the KEAM 2026 candidate portal on the official CEE Kerala website and use their login credentials to download the admit card. Since the admit card is released online, no hard copy is sent by post.

There is an important timeline difference between the original KEAM 2026 prospectus and the later official notice.

For practical purposes, candidates should follow the later official notification issued on 4 April 2026, because it specifically updates the admit-card availability window.

Who needs the KEAM hall ticket

The KEAM hall ticket discussed here is for candidates appearing in the Engineering and Pharmacy entrance examination conducted by CEE Kerala. The KEAM 2026 portal currently states that the candidate portal is opened for Engineering and Pharmacy candidates, while the portal for Medical and Architecture courses will be opened later.

This distinction matters because Architecture admissions depend on NATA and Medical and Medical Allied admissions depend on NEET-UG. The KEAM entrance hall ticket is therefore directly relevant to the Engineering entrance examination and the Kerala Pharmacy entrance examination.

Exam dates, shifts and venue information

The KEAM 2026 Engineering and Pharmacy entrance examination will be conducted as a computer-based test at selected venues in different sessions. The schedule published in the prospectus lists the main examination days from 17 April to 23 April 2026, with the session timing shown as 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The exact venue and timetable for each candidate will be printed on the admit card, so candidates should follow their own hall-ticket details rather than rely only on the broader schedule table.

Exam pattern and marking scheme

KEAM 2026 Engineering and Pharmacy entrance examinations will be objective type with multiple choice questions and single-response answers. The examinations will be conducted in CBT mode.

For each correct answer, 4 marks are awarded. For each incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted. Unanswered questions do not carry a penalty. The prospectus also states that a candidate who fails to answer at least one question will be disqualified from the Engineering or Pharmacy rank list.

If the hall ticket is not available or your application has defects

CEE Kerala had earlier allowed Engineering and Pharmacy candidates to verify and rectify profile-level defects related to name, photo, signature, and Class 10 certificate through the candidate portal. That notification also stated that admit cards would not be issued to candidates who did not rectify those defects within the stipulated time.

The prospectus further says that if an application is rejected, the status will be shown in the candidate portal as Application Rejected. It also says no memo will be sent by post for defective applications. If a candidate cannot download the hall ticket, the first step should be to log in to the candidate portal and check for any rejection or memo details. Candidates can also use the official helpline listed by CEE Kerala.

What happens after the examination

After all KEAM 2026 Engineering and Pharmacy exam sessions are over, CEE Kerala will publish the answer keys on the official website. Candidates who want to raise objections can do so only through the candidate portal within 3 days from the publication of the answer keys.

The prospectus says an objection fee of Rs. 200 per question must be paid online. If a complaint is found genuine, the fee will be refunded. The prospectus also states that ranking for Engineering and Pharmacy uses normalized entrance scores because the examination is conducted in multiple CBT sessions.
