For now, candidates should use the latest official SBI Clerk notification as the working benchmark. In that notice, the core eligibility structure remained centered on age, graduation, Indian citizenship, category-based relaxations and local language proficiency. This is the most reliable way to assess likely eligibility until the new PDF is published.

If SBI keeps the same framework, the broad rules for 2026 should remain similar. Still, candidates should check the fresh advertisement carefully because even when the core criteria stay the same, the cut-off date and accepted certificate period can change from one cycle to another.

SBI Clerk age limit 2026

The standard SBI Clerk age rule is expected to remain 20 to 28 years as on the cut-off date mentioned in the official advertisement. This means a candidate must have completed 20 years of age and must not have crossed 28 years on the date fixed by SBI for that recruitment cycle.
