The Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board has issued Advertisement No. 04/26 for the Special Recruitment Drive for Uniformed Services Combined Examination 2026. Although many searches focus on IRB GD Constable, the official recruitment is broader and covers multiple Group C uniformed posts including Constable (IRBn), Constable Civil Police for male and female candidates, Fireman, and Special Tiger Guard under STPF, along with Constable Band and Constable Bugler.

The original notice was published on 13 March 2026 and opened online applications from 23 March 2026. A later APSSB notice dated 7 April 2026 rescheduled the application closing date to 20 April 2026 and the written examination to 14 June 2026. At the same time, APSSB clarified that educational qualification, age and other eligibility conditions will still be determined with reference to 10 April 2026, as already stated in the advertisement.

This article keeps the focus on the official APSSB documents: the vacancy breakup, Class 10 based eligibility for most posts, application fee, written exam pattern, PET/PST requirements, and the main instructions candidates need before applying. Wherever the official notice is silent or where details are highly post-specific, that is stated clearly instead of being guessed.
