IRCTC Hospitality Monitor Recruitment 2026: Walk-in for 84 Posts

Recruitment Overview

IRCTC South Zone has invited eligible and qualified candidates to appear for walk-in interview for the post of Hospitality Monitor on contractual basis. The notification is meant for 84 posts and the appointments are temporary contractual engagements.

• B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Science
• MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management from government recognized universities affiliated to UGC, AICTE, Government of India or State Government, or institutions such as CIHM, SIHM, PIHM affiliated to NCHMCT, UGC, AICTE or Government of India

Age Limit and Relaxation

Salary and Allowances

• Supervision and monitoring of food production, quality and services in mobile catering units such as Vande Bharat trains, Mail and Express trains, TSVs, Tourist Trains and Bharat Gaurav Trains
• Monitoring food production and quality in static catering units, base kitchens and cluster kitchens
• Ensuring working of equipment and proper pest control and cleaning of mini pantry and pantry areas
• Complaint handling, feedback collection and service improvement
• Coordination with departments, offices and business partners
• Ensuring statutory compliance and standard hospitality practices

The notice states that the nature of duty may require movement all over India and up to 22 days per month in trains. Candidates should be ready for extensive field travel and operational deployment.

Posting and Preferred Skills

The selected candidates may initially be posted in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. However, IRCTC reserves the right to deploy them anywhere in India.
