Age limits and other criteria
The advertisement states that age, qualification and experience are to be reckoned as on 28 February 2026. The age band varies by role.

For reserved OBC posts, the notification says creamy layer candidates are not entitled to OBC reservation and must produce the prescribed OBC non-creamy layer certificate. It also mentions age relaxation up to 3 years for eligible OBC candidates where the post is reserved for them.

Salary, leave and contract period
NPS Trust has published fixed monthly remuneration for each level of post. There is also provision for annual increment based on performance review during the contract period.

The initial contract period is 3 years. It may be extended by up to 2 more years, one year at a time, subject to outstanding performance. Performance will be reviewed half yearly, and the Trust may terminate the contract if performance is unsatisfactory.
The notification also allows 30 days of leave in a calendar year on a proportionate basis, subject to the conditions mentioned in the advertisement. No residential accommodation will be provided.
Place of posting and nature of appointment
The place of posting at present is New Delhi. However, the advertisement states that depending on administrative requirements, the candidate may be placed anywhere in the country in future.
