Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should read the eligibility requirements carefully because this recruitment is experience-based and not open in the same way as a standard probationary officer intake.

Salary, Bond, Probation and Service Conditions
The official scale of pay for JMGS-I is Rs 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920. Local Bank Officers will join at the initial scale of JMGS-I plus 3 increments in the scale of pay.
- JAIIB and CAIIB qualification increments, if already acquired, will be protected and adjusted at joining.
- DA, HRA or leased accommodation, CCA, medical, LTC, terminal benefits and other perquisites will be governed by prevailing rules.
- Probation period: 6 months.
- Bond period: 3 years.
- Bond amount: equivalent to 3 months' gross salary in the relevant officer scale.
- One surety of equal amount, acceptable to the bank, is also required before joining.
The selected officers will be in the general cadre. They will not be entitled to inter-state transfer, controlling office posting, special branch posting, or deputation to other organizations up to promotion to SMGS-IV or completion of 12 years of service, whichever is earlier.
The notification also requires candidates to maintain a healthy credit history and to have a minimum CIBIL score of 650 or above at the time of joining. A CIBIL report from the bank where the candidate holds an account is to be submitted at document verification.
