FMGE Registration 2026 Latest Status

NBEMS has invited applications for FMGE June 2026. The online application window opened on 21 April 2026 at 3:00 PM and remains available up to 11 May 2026 at 11:55 PM.

This is the active official registration cycle currently available for FMGE 2026. Candidates should apply through the NBEMS process only and should avoid delaying the form because later stages such as image correction, document rectification, test city intimation, and admit card release follow on a fixed schedule.

Who Can Apply for FMGE 2026

FMGE is meant for Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India who hold a primary medical qualification from a medical institution outside India and want provisional or permanent registration in India, subject to the applicable rules.

For the June 2026 session, the candidate should possess a primary medical qualification that is recognized for enrolment as a medical practitioner in the country where the qualification was awarded, with confirmation by the Indian Embassy concerned where required. The result of the final examination for that primary medical qualification should have been declared on or before 30 April 2026.

Candidates should also ensure that their eligibility certificate or equivalent requirement is in order as applicable. NBEMS has specifically stated that candidates taking admission in the primary medical qualification on or after May 2018 are required to upload the NEET-UG qualifying score card in lieu of the eligibility certificate, where applicable.

Important Dates for FMGE June 2026 Registration

This schedule matters because missing a correction stage can affect eligibility and admit card issuance even after you have submitted the form and paid the fee.

FMGE 2026 Application Fee and Payment Mode

The notified examination fee for FMGE June 2026 is Rs. 5,250, with 18 percent GST of Rs. 945, making the total payable amount Rs. 6,195, excluding any additional payment gateway charges.

NBEMS allows payment through the online payment gateway made available during the application process. Candidates can use UPI, credit card, debit card issued by banks in India, or other online modes shown on the application page.

Once the application is submitted, the fee is not refundable, not adjustable, and not carried forward. Candidates should confirm that the payment status is successful before treating the application as complete.

Documents Required for FMGE Registration 2026

FMGE registration is document-sensitive. Candidates should keep both academic and identity records ready before starting the form. The most important records usually include proof of citizenship, proof of primary medical qualification, and the supporting records that establish eligibility under the applicable regulations.

• Valid passport or other accepted citizenship proof, depending on category
• Primary Medical Qualification Certificate or provisional pass certificate
• Apostille or attestation of the qualification by the Indian Embassy concerned, where applicable
• Eligibility Certificate, if applicable
• NEET-UG qualifying score card in lieu of Eligibility Certificate where applicable for later admission cases
• Admission letter, if required in the candidate's case
• Recent photograph, signature, and thumb impression as per image guidelines

The uploaded proof must clearly show that the final examination result of the primary medical qualification was declared on or before 30 April 2026. If the documentary record does not clearly establish this, the candidature can be cancelled.

How to Apply for FMGE Registration 2026

1. Open the official NBEMS website and go to the FMGE June 2026 registration section.
2. Read the information bulletin carefully before filling any details.
3. Create or access your applicant login and begin the online application form.
4. Enter personal details, contact details, citizenship details, and qualification details carefully.
5. Upload the required images and documents in the prescribed format.
6. Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.
7. Review the form carefully and submit it.
8. Download and save the submitted application form and payment confirmation for future use.

Candidates should avoid rushing through the document upload section. Most later problems arise not from the basic form fields, but from incomplete, unclear, or mismatched supporting documents.

Edit Window and Document Correction Process

NBEMS has provided multiple post-submission correction stages, and candidates should understand the difference between them.

The standard edit window runs from 16 May 2026 to 18 May 2026 for applications with successful payment. During this stage, candidates can edit many details and documents, but some fields remain non-editable. These non-editable fields include name, nationality, email ID, Aadhaar, mobile number, and test city.

The final selective edit window for deficient or incorrect images runs from 21 May 2026 to 10 June 2026. This is only for notified image issues such as photograph, signature, or thumb impression.

Separate from image correction, deficiencies related to uploaded documents such as proof of primary medical qualification, apostille or embassy attestation, eligibility certificate or admission letter, and citizenship proof can be rectified up to 16 June 2026. Candidates who fail to fix required document deficiencies by that date will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

Test City, Admit Card and Exam Day Timeline

NBEMS will inform applicants of the allotted test city on 17 June 2026. The exact test centre address will be shown later in the admit card.

The admit card will be available for download from 24 June 2026 onwards on the NBEMS website. It will not be sent by post or email. Only eligible candidates will receive admit cards.

The FMGE June 2026 exam is scheduled for 28 June 2026. Candidates should download the admit card early, verify the centre details, and review the reporting instructions instead of waiting until the last minute.

FMGE 2026 Exam Pattern and Passing Marks

The examination consists of one paper comprising 300 multiple-choice questions delivered on a computer-based platform. It is conducted in two parts on the same day, with each part carrying 150 questions and 150 minutes.

The scheduled timing is as follows:

• Part I: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
• Part II: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM

There is no negative marking in FMGE. To pass, a candidate must secure a minimum of 150 marks out of 300. FMGE is a qualifying examination, so the focus should be on meeting the passing standard rather than relative ranking.

Result, Scorecard and What Happens After FMGE

NBEMS has stated that the result of FMGE June 2026 is likely to be declared by 28 July 2026. After the result is declared, the scorecard is expected to be made available through applicant login, usually within about one week.

Qualified candidates should remember that clearing FMGE is not the final administrative step. NBEMS issues the FMGE pass certificate after the required verification process, including document checks and identity verification connected to the examination process.

Candidates should also preserve their application records, admit card, and later scorecard carefully. These documents are often needed during the next stage of registration or verification with the relevant medical authority.
