It is designed for experienced candidates in obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, community medicine, dentistry or basic medical practice with maternal and child health clinical research experience. The role includes participant oversight, safety reporting, site coordination, training, documentation and protocol compliance.

Posts for data, lab, public health and support candidates

The Data Manager role is meant for candidates with strong clinical data handling experience. The notice expects background in data management, clinical research operations, MIS, IT, data analysis or healthcare data functions. THSTI has also listed desirable exposure to CDMS, programming and data visualization tools such as Tableau.

Project Assistant is a lab-facing research role requiring Life Sciences background and hands-on knowledge in virology, molecular biology, immunology, RT-PCR and virus handling. Candidates with experience in ABSL2 or ABSL3 environments are likely to be more relevant for this post.

Project Technical Support-III is suitable for public health, economics or health economics candidates who can support data collection, interviews, field coordination, literature review and basic analysis. Project Technical Support-I is the most accessible role in educational terms, but the actual work is field-heavy and includes participant communication, sample movement and coordination between hospital sites.

Executive Assistant (HR) is different from the research posts and is meant for candidates who can support HR and administration with communication, coordination and employee data-related work.

Walk-in venue, reporting time and how the process works

THSTI has instructed candidates to walk in at 9:00 AM on the date mentioned against the relevant post. The venue is THSTI, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, 3rd Milestone, Faridabad-Gurugram Expressway, Faridabad - 121001.

The notice does not describe this as a routine online application cycle. Instead, candidates have to appear for written test, skill test or interview depending on the post. For example, Executive Assistant (HR) is specifically marked for walk-in written test or interview, while other roles are mentioned as walk-in interviews or selection processes on their scheduled dates.

Candidates who arrive after the time slot mentioned in the notice will not be entertained. That makes reporting time especially important in this recruitment.

The upper age limit differs by post and ranges from 28 years to 45 years. THSTI has clarified that the date of interview for the respective post is the crucial date for determining age, experience and essential qualification.

Age relaxation is available as per the notice. SC and ST candidates get 5 years, OBC candidates get 3 years, and persons with benchmark disabilities get 10 years for UR, 13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC or ST categories. Central Government servants may get relaxation up to 5 years as per applicable instructions. Institute employees can get relaxation to the extent of service rendered, and ex-servicemen can get relaxation equal to service rendered plus 3 years, subject to the condition mentioned in the notice.

Since the crucial date changes with the walk-in date of the post, candidates should calculate eligibility against the exact date of their chosen role.

Important conditions about job nature and selection

These are short-term positions linked to specific projects. THSTI has clearly stated that extension, if granted, depends on satisfactory performance and the tenure of the project. Selected candidates will not have any claim for regularization.

The experience requirement in the notice is post-qualification experience. That means THSTI will count only the experience acquired after obtaining the minimum educational qualification prescribed for the post.

If a large number of candidates appear for a walk-in, THSTI may screen candidates further and restrict the selection stage to those with higher or more relevant qualifications and experience.
