ALIMCO Recruitment 2026 Overview

ALIMCO is inviting online applications for 162 posts on a purely contractual basis. The recruitment covers technical, engineering, rehabilitation, clinical, education, and support positions. Eligibility, Qualification and Experience

Eligibility is different for each post, but the official notice shows that the recruitment spans a wide qualification range. Candidates must be Indian citizens, and age, qualification, and work experience are to be counted as on 1 April 2026. Teaching experience and training period will not be counted as experience.

Experience requirements range from nil to 10 years depending on the post. Some posts such as Young Professional (Artificial Intelligence) have no minimum experience, while IT Consultant and Lead AI Expert require 10 years. A few clinical and rehabilitation posts also allow fresher candidates.

Computer proficiency is essential for all applicants.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The upper age limit varies by post and ranges from 30 years to 50 years as on 1 April 2026.

Relaxation for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS and PwBD candidates will be provided as per Government of India guidelines. The notice also states that candidates belonging to reserved categories who apply against unreserved posts will not get age relaxation against the unreserved vacancy.

Salary, Tenure and Nature of Engagement

The engagement is on Contractual Fixed Term Employment. Depending on the post, the initial tenure is 2 years or 3 years, and the notice says it can be reviewed and extended on a year-to-year basis as per the requirement of the corporation.

The monthly consolidated remuneration varies significantly by role. At the upper end, Lead AI Expert carries a monthly remuneration of Rs. 1,80,000, while several assistant or fresher-level positions start from Rs. 25,000 per month. Many technical and support posts fall in the Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 60,000 range.

The contract does not carry regular service allowances such as dearness allowance, transport facility, residential accommodation, CGHS or medical reimbursement. Contractual appointees are eligible for 12 days leave in a calendar year on a pro-rata basis.

Selection Process

ALIMCO has stated that screening and selection will be based on the information entered in the online application form and the uploaded supporting documents. Candidates therefore need to ensure that all entries are accurate, complete and supported by valid records.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the interview date and time through email, speed post, registered post or courier, depending on the details provided in the application. Interviews may be conducted either physically or through online mode such as video conferencing.

Mere possession of the minimum qualification and experience does not entitle a candidate to interview. At the time of joining, selected candidates must also submit a medical fitness certificate from a government hospital or a company-nominated hospital. No TA or DA is admissible for attending the interview or for joining the assignment.

4. Log in with the generated user ID and password.
