Andaman & Nicobar Health Department ANM Recruitment 2026 Overview

The Directorate of Health Services, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, has invited online applications for the post of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM). This is a Group C non-ministerial recruitment and the department has notified 51 vacancies under an open recruitment examination.

How to Apply Online

Documents, Exam Centre and Admit Card

• Photograph should be in jpeg format, between 20 KB and 50 KB, with recommended resolution 200 x 230.
• Signature should be in jpeg format, between 10 KB and 20 KB, with resolution 140 x 60.
• Other documents such as proof of age, qualifications, category and NOC should generally be between 100 KB and 500 KB as per portal instructions.

The recruitment examination will be held only at Sri Vijaya Puram. The date of the CBT will be announced later through newspaper and the web portal. Admit cards will have to be downloaded from the official website, and no admit card will be sent by post.

At the examination centre, candidates should carry the admit card, a photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License or Islander Card, and one recent passport-size photograph. Electronic gadgets, notes and calculators are not allowed inside the exam hall.
