Andaman and Nicobar Police has released a recruitment notice for various Group B (Non-Gazetted) and Group C posts for 2026. Although many candidates are searching it as Police Constable recruitment, the notification covers a wider set of posts including Sub-Inspector, ASI, Head Constable, Constable, Fireman, Follower, technical, driver, marine and radio organisation posts.
The total number of vacancies is 495 and the vacancies are tentative. The recruitment is for different units of Andaman and Nicobar Police, including Executive Branch, Police Radio Organization, Police Motor Transport, Police Marine Force, Fire & Emergency Services and India Reserve Battalion. The online application process starts on 27 April 2026 at 11:00 AM and closes on 17 May 2026 at 11:59 PM.
Before applying, candidates should read the detailed official notice carefully because the eligibility changes by post. Some posts need only 10th pass with trade or experience conditions, some require 12th pass, and several Group B or technical posts require graduation, engineering, diploma or specific certificates along with driving licence requirements.
