APMSRB Recruitment 2026 overview

Eligibility criteria and required qualification

The minimum educational requirement across these posts is a relevant postgraduate degree in the concerned subject or specialty after regular study of not less than three years. In addition, candidates must have the prescribed teaching experience and must be permanent registered medical practitioners in the concerned field.

• Professor (UG) - Ayurveda: Relevant postgraduate degree in the concerned Ayurveda subject, 8 years teaching experience, and permanent registration in the concerned field.
• Professor (UG) - Homoeopathy: Relevant postgraduate degree in the concerned Homoeopathy subject, 8 years teaching experience, and permanent registration in the concerned field.
• Associate Professor - Ayurveda: Relevant postgraduate degree in Ayurveda, 3 years teaching experience, and permanent registration in the concerned field.
• Associate Professor - Homoeopathy: Relevant postgraduate degree in Homoeopathy, 3 years teaching experience, and permanent registration in the concerned field.

One important point from the notification is that there are no allied subjects in Ayurveda, so only candidates with postgraduate qualification in the exact concerned Ayurveda subject are eligible there.
