For non-COVID contract service, the notification gives area-based weightage at 2.5 marks per six months in tribal area, 2.0 marks per six months in rural area, and 1.0 mark per six months in urban area. No weightage is given for non-COVID service below six months.

Local status, district jurisdiction and separate applications

This recruitment is tied to the erstwhile East Godavari district. Candidates who studied in the erstwhile East Godavari district from Class IV to Class X are treated as local candidates based on study certificates. Other candidates are treated as non-local candidates.

The tenure for contract and outsourcing posts is initially one year from the date of joining. It may be extended further based on government instructions.
