Recruitment overview

Engineers India Limited has issued a fixed-term recruitment notice for experienced candidates in engineering and allied technical roles. The official advertisement is for 91 posts in total under multiple position codes.

Although many users search this as Associate Engineer Recruitment 2026, the official notice includes one non-engineer category as well: Associate Officer Grade II for Warehouse or Material Management. • Associate Engineer Grade III Civil, Mechanical and Welding or NDT: B.E., B.Tech. or B.Sc. Engineering in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks and 9 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Associate Engineer Grade IV Civil, Mechanical and Welding or NDT: B.E., B.Tech. or B.Sc. Engineering in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks and 13 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Welding or NDT posts also require ASNT Level-II Certificate in RT, UT, DPT or MPT as mentioned in the notification.
• Associate Officer Grade II Warehouse: Graduate in Arts, Commerce or Science with Diploma in Material Management and minimum 55% marks, plus 14 years of relevant experience.

The specified qualification must have been acquired within the prescribed minimum course duration. Candidates should apply only for the post that matches both their degree and their experience profile.

Age limit and relaxations

The upper age limit depends on the grade and post code. The cut-off date for calculating age is 31 March 2026.

Relaxations mentioned in the official notice are as follows:

• SC and ST: 5 years
• OBC Non-Creamy Layer: 3 years
• PwD General or EWS: 10 years
• PwD OBC Non-Creamy Layer: 13 years
• PwD SC or ST: 15 years

Salary, benefits and tenure

The engagement is on fixed term basis, initially for 1 to 2 years depending on assignment, and may be extended subject to project requirement and performance. The maximum period from the initial date of joining is 3 years.

Place of posting and nature of work
