Each correct answer carries 1 mark. There is negative marking of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer.

Minimum qualifying marks in the online test are 45% for General category candidates and 35% for reserved category candidates. If the exam is conducted in multiple shifts, normalization of marks will be applied before preparation of final merit.

Merit is prepared on the basis of marks in the online exam after normalization, if applicable. In case of a tie, the older candidate is placed higher in merit.
