NIDMP Faculty Recruitment 2026 Overview

The NIDMP Faculty Recruitment 2026 notification invites offline applications for senior design faculty posts at National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh. The posts are Group A positions and are being filled through direct recruitment.

Important Dates

Candidates should treat the last date as the date by which the hard copy must reach NID MP, not the date of posting from their side. Postal delay is generally not accepted as a reason for late submission.

Vacancy Details

The notification lists 06 vacancies across two faculty posts. Candidates should apply for the post that matches their qualification, experience and design specialization.

Eligibility Criteria

The essential qualification for both posts is a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Design from a recognized university or reputed institution. The qualification should be from a university or institution recognized or approved by competent bodies such as UGC, AICTE, or a Central or State Government-established institution.

Experience will be counted only after acquiring the essential qualification. Experience gained while pursuing the higher qualification is not counted for the minimum experience requirement.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The age limit is different for the two posts and will be calculated with reference to the last date for receipt of offline applications.

Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for eligible reserved categories. SC/ST candidates may get 5 years of relaxation and OBC-NCL candidates may get 3 years of relaxation only where the vacancy is reserved for the relevant category. Ex-Servicemen age relaxation is also applicable as per rules.

Application Fee

The application fee must be paid through Demand Draft where applicable. Candidates applying for more than one post should check the official instructions carefully because the notification states the fee is applicable for each post applied.

The Demand Draft should be in favour of National Institute of Design Madhya Pradesh and payable at Bhopal.

How to Apply Offline

Candidates must submit the application only in offline mode. Applications sent by any other mode are liable to be rejected.

1. Download the official notification and prescribed application form from the NID MP website.
2. Read the eligibility, age, experience and document requirements before filling the form.
3. Fill the application form clearly and accurately.
4. Paste the passport-size photograph and sign the application wherever required.
5. Attach self-attested copies of educational qualification, experience, identity proof, category certificate and other relevant documents.
6. Attach the Demand Draft if the fee is applicable.
7. Write "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF" followed by the post name on the sealed envelope.
8. Send the application by Registered Post or Speed Post only so that it reaches NID MP by 01 June 2026.

Selection Process

NID MP may shortlist candidates based on qualifications, suitability, relevant experience and other criteria decided by the institute. Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not automatically guarantee that a candidate will be called for the next stage.

The institute has reserved the right to conduct one or more methods such as Group Discussion, Presentation, Teaching Demonstration and Interview for shortlisting and selection. Candidates should regularly check the NID MP website and registered email for updates related to the selection process.

No TA or DA will be paid for appearing in the selection process.
