Eligibility Criteria

• Or minimum 5 years of service as a Gazetted Police Officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police.
• Or minimum 5 years of service as an Assistant Commandant in Paramilitary Forces such as BSF, CRPF, ITBP, CISF or SSB.

The notification also states that candidates who have been terminated or removed from service by a previous employer will not be considered eligible.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The age limit for the post is 23 to 35 years as on 1 April 2026. This means the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2 April 1991 and not later than 1 April 2003, both dates inclusive.

For OBC reservation, the certificate must include the non-creamy layer clause and the caste must be in the Central List. EWS candidates must have a valid Income and Asset Certificate in the prescribed format.

Salary, Bond, Probation and Posting

The post carries the MMGS II pay scale of Rs. 64820-2340/1-67160-2680/10-93960. In addition to basic pay, the bank has mentioned DA, HRA or leased accommodation where applicable, CCA, medical benefits, LTC, terminal benefits and other perquisites as per prevailing rules.

The probation period is 1 year. Selected candidates will also have to execute a service bond. The bond amount will be equal to 3 months' gross salary, and the minimum service period linked to the bond is 2 years. One surety of equal amount, acceptable to the bank, is also required before joining.

The bank has also stated that applicants must maintain a healthy credit history and should have a minimum CIBIL score of 650 or above at the time of joining. Selected officers will be part of the specialist cadre and may be posted through inter-state transfer, controlling offices, or special branches such as CBB, Currency Chest, ARB and RCC.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The selection procedure mentioned in the notification includes written test, screening, personal interview and final merit list. The bank has also stated that it may waive the written test at its sole discretion.

If a written test is conducted, the exam pattern is as follows:

The minimum qualifying marks in each section are 40% for Unreserved and EWS candidates and 35% for reserved categories. Candidates must qualify both the written test and interview separately. Where the written test is held, the final score is based on 70% weightage for the online test and 30% for the personal interview.

Bank transaction charges for online payment have to be borne by the candidate. The fee must be paid online only. Cash, cheque, money order or postal stamp payment is not accepted. Once paid, the fee is non-refundable.
